How much is the Kimi Code plan?
As of 2026-10-16, there is no separate Kimi Code plan. Kimi Code comes with Kimi membership: internationally, all four plans include it, at 19 USD (Plus), 39 USD (Pro), 99 USD (Max), and 199 USD (Ultra) a month. In China it starts at Plus, 99 RMB a month; the cheapest China plan, Go at 49 RMB, does not include it.
International prices
| Plan | Monthly | Annual total | Monthly equivalent, annual |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plus | 19 USD | 180 USD | 15 USD |
| Pro | 39 USD | 372 USD | 31 USD |
| Max | 99 USD | 948 USD | 79 USD |
| Ultra | 199 USD | 1,908 USD | 159 USD |
China plans are Go (49 RMB), Plus (99 RMB), Pro (199 RMB), and Max (699 RMB) a month. Higher tiers mostly add Agent credits; Pro and up add Goal Mode, a dedicated Kimi Claw, and K3 with 1M context.
How usage is limited
On the new plans, Kimi Code has a rolling 5-hour window: too many requests in a short time trigger rate limiting, which clears as the window rolls over. The old weekly cap is gone. Kimi Code still draws from the membership’s shared monthly pool, though, so if that runs out, Kimi Code is frozen until the pool resets or you upgrade. Legacy plans keep their 5-hour window plus a weekly quota.
For coding alone, Plus is a fine start; the 5-hour window and the monthly pool matter more than the tier name. If you also use Kimi’s research and office agents heavily, they compete for the same monthly pool, and Pro starts to make sense.
